Trolls

I got my first troll today. Not bad for four months posting almost every day. Although I was tempted to the point of addressing and arguing the troll’s points, really, I felt they were insulting to my readers and I also felt that engaging was bringing myself down to that level. So I trashed the response (which was lengthy) and reminded myself of the policy: Don’t feed the trolls.

In honour of this momentous occasion, I have imported a puzzle that I didn’t create myself. However, it is in the public domain of puzzlebee.

I got a 4.33. And I love those little trolls. My aunt had a set of them with a little vinyl hut they “lived” in (think of Barbie Doll old wardrobe type of vinyl). But it was all painted colorfully and looked like a hut from gilligans island. LOL. She passed those down to my sisters and I. And now my great niece has some of those same trolls dolls. I see they don’t make them exactly the same anymore but they are close and there are a few companies now so they all look slightly different. But what a blast from the past.

We used to call them “wishnick dolls.” And my brothers used to call my sister Wishnick due to her frizzy hair. I was called Mini Wishnick. Now I have product to put in my hair so it’s curly, not frizzy.

you got a troll too? wtf? i guess veronica also had one. my troll is not brave enough to leave comments. he sends them to my email from all sorts of anonymous places. they say salt will keep trolls away. maybe if we throw in in their eyes?

An internet troll is one who tries to belittle the author and/or their readers/commenters. In this case, to argue their own point of view. No blogger need feel obligated to further the agenda of a troll on their own blog.
