I have a lot of very talented friends and clients. I have received a fair amount of their work as gifts, and as trades for my own services.
One of my favourites is a red haired bundle of wonder who paints, makes photographic images and thought-provoking series.

I should remind you that clicking “view image” on the puzzle will pause the game for as long as the image is in view mode. That way, you can get a preview of its shape and size, and where you think pieces might fit.
I guess I will have to go out and take some interesting pictures because I’m out of puzzle material. I can, however, still beg, and I contacted two members of my mailing list to get a loan of one of their images.

There’s much debate about the big 2012 “event” that’s going to change the world forever. Do you have any visions? Thoughts about what may or may not happen? Or do you just think it’s another Y2K everybodys-panties-in-a-wad prediction?
Dec. 21, 2012, at 11:11pm, is when the Maya’s “Long Count” calendar marks the end of a 5,126-year era. The research available is enough to make a person dizzy, but what I get from it is that the calendar resets at that time of amazing planetary alignment. We had another powerful planetary alignment in May of 2000. This did not end the world as we know it with a bang, but rather, heralded many changes in the earth’s weather patterns, to name only one. Remember that the earth wobbled on its axis at the time of the tsunami Dec 26, 2004. The earth shifting its axis is part of the predictions for great planetary upheaval. I see this resetting of the Mayan calendar as a similar heralding of changes to come. And they aren’t good.
When I look ahead, I look further than 2012, and all I see is grey. Grey because it is a land devoid of vegetation. I see even more suffering and hardship, and I don’t much like it. People’s ugliness coming out to bring about survival of the ruthless. I just don’t want to live in a world without ruth.

I was hoping I would be able to puzzle the picture of Bonkers, but the application does not love pictures of family or people that are not movie stars. My sister was supposed to bring him to me today, but a storm made her change her mind. That’s two down and one to go until spring.
But I don’t hate winter. You can turn the heat up or put on layers if you are outside. But the summer? Well, you can only get so naked, and there is nowhere to go from there.
I shot this image with what was most likely a disposable camera in the summer, from the deck of a whale watching boat. While we were shooting the movie I was in. I love me a cool ocean breeze.
