This award was created by Loralee to spotlight excellent comments. I think it is a lovely idea, and I plan to make this a weekly feature.

The first Peep of the Week award goes to the witty, talented, and fragrant Old Knudsen.

Loralee's Brainchild

I did a post on colon hydrotherapy titled You Can See Your Farts

Knudsey, of course, responded to the post with this:

Ok I’m here, what a disgusting post, weemen aren’t supposed to fart next you’ll know they’ll be doing the dutch oven on their men. And you had the nerve to mention the picture on my post. The arse is for unloading only, and don’t bring up the gurlyboy I married in the 80’s cos that was love combined with alcohol and a long boring sea voyage. Imagine not being able to make a woman whose job it was to stick tubes up bums laugh, everytime a tube goes in she kicks herself for not doing better at school , well thats what I think about when I have to turn tricks for beer money but we won’t get into that.
I’m going to stumble this cos I want the world to share my disgust now I’m off to empty my commode its over flowing due to having type this long comment. I’m also going to sent this post to the Diocese of Leeds to teach them a lesson. And Jenny corn is the best recyclable about have you ever tried to see how many times you can eat it before the body breaks it doon? I’ll not spoil yer enjoyment of that experiment with my own results.

It doesn’t get much better than this, unless of course, you become mesmerized by the gorgeous crystals in my shop.

Then? You should buy one.

Hot off the press! I found this morning, in my inbox, the following message:

Dear fellow Blogger

I have taken it upon myself to award those Bloggers/Blogs I have found to be mildly entertaining or somewhat likeable with The Knudsen Award. Do not feel obliged or obligated to display said award on yer Blog if you don’t want to.
You shall be featured on my award blog, yes another blog but more like a virtual china cabinet if you please.

Yer category is for the Best Psychic Blogger of 2008 for being open ,honest and helpful to those looking answers in their lives and the amusing stories you tell on yer Blog. I hope that 2008 is a great year for you and yers.

Yers Sincerely

Old Knudsen

I want to thank the thoughtful panel of hard-working adjudicants who made the decisions in this tough category. Me mum, rest her soul, is always jabbering away in my ear with psychic information, but mostly she is making fun of me. Mom, are you proud of me now? Or were you jabbering at the panel to award me with this? Next time, how about some lottery numbers, kay? Knudsey, I see through your curmudgeonly ways to the soft-hearted person you are!

And now, I must ask my gentle readers to contribute questions to Ask witchypoo, because it’s about that time.

On another note, I am considering setting up a shop witchypoo page to display and sell to my lucky duck readers some of my awesome crystals. The folk that help me with my next move will be ever so grateful if they don’t have to lug around a ton of rocks. And Ass Burger Boy will be happy because it may mean he can get the new router we suddenly need. He ain’t pretty without his internet, I can tell you.

Just because I have an award for 2008 in its own special category doesn’t mean I want you to slack off voting for me at the Blogger’s Choice Awards. I have thoughtfully prominently displayed the unsightly but convenient image link on my sidebar. No need to thank me. Really. Just be proactive and vote. Don’t make me put up that useless donate button again. Heh.

What? It’s criminal that I missed a day posting? I had issues. Some of them involved cheese.

An issue that didn’t involve cheese was something that broke my blog.

Not for very long though. Ree, who has the same web hosting service that I do, told me about her bandwidth crisis, and I checked my numbers only to find that I was perilously close to doing the same. I immediately sent off an email to Rob, keeper of the web-hosting smoothness. I knew Rob was a great guy because he and I went to geek school together, and I saw his niceness in action. In fact, it was Sunday when I emailed him, and he apologized that it took an hour to get back to me because he was helping a friend move. I don’t know how he found time, what with his volunteer Fire fighter duties and regular job. He told me he had some extra bandwidth this month, and not to worry about paying extra.

If you are thinking about moving to a self-hosted platform, you may want to consider someone who is personally vouched for. Someone who is reasonably-priced, and will solve your problems, even on a Sunday.

And now, to move us completely away from seeing our farts, I received a true blue award from Veronica.

She is in on the big bloggy giveaway, so go leave a comment and good luck! She is giving away $25 via PayPal. Not too shabby for leaving a comment, is it?

I would like to pass this award on to Jenny, Teeni, Unruly Duckling and Old Knudsen, because they really are true blue. The screen shot is courtesy of Jenny. I didn’t think to take one when my blog broke. She is very helpful when I have glitches and issues on all of my sites. Some of them I can fix, some, not so much.

I would like to thank those of you who take the time to comment on my posts. I do love your comments. I’m mostly answering them by email now, because I learned that is what the big girls do. If there is an item that needs more discussion, I may add to the comments section. I should have done that with the colon hydrotherapy post, but I had cheese issues.

Because I am sparing you the details of my cheese issues, you should hit that Blogger’s Choice Awards button on my sidebar and go vote for me. Really? It’s the lesser of the two evils. Truly.

As I have been surfing along on the blogosphere, this award struck me as the most meaningful. To me, it really does represent our community, and the amazing friendships we gather and hold close to our hearts.

Josey at Staying silly, living lucky awarded this to me, and it is my very great pleasure to receive it, and also to pass it on. First, look! Isn’t it beauty?

colorsoffriendshipaward

I tried to narrow it down to two, but I just couldn’t. J at Life’s Just Beachy has wrestled with her beliefs about psychics being tools of satan, and has been very kind to me. And! She made it possible for me to switch out my headers! Yay!

Next, Zoe at I’ve Come Undone She can take a bad day and make it funny. I always am careful not to be drinking hot beverages when I read her site, because that whole snorting it out the nose? Painful. I think I may have a girl crush.

Last, and I had to double check to see if she had it already, and I wondered, how is that possible that she doesn’t? Clearly, the time has come to rectify the situation. So in the same spirit of friendship that has been extended by her to me, I would also be honoured to have Laura of I am the Diva accept this award with my gratitude.

Shameless self-promotion: Show me some freaking love. Go on, vote. You know you wanna. You have to register first, but you will make me very happy. Check your junk mail folder for the registration confirmation. Oh, and if it says voting is closed? It is for 2007, but this award is for 2008.

My site was nominated for Freakiest Blogger!
