What is that squirrel DOING to that nut? Huh? My parents' house is old, old, old. And besides the high ceilings and termites, there are several "ghosts". One old lady hangs out by the gate, and when I put my hands through the gate to lock the thingy, she holds my hands and gives me that batty senile smile. She wears what Trinis call a "duster", a cool cotton flowered house dress. She freaks sensitive people out from time to time, and I HATE locking that gate on dark nights! Aaak! I know that she is batty and harmless, but she only ever leaves for a few months at most. It is fun to frighten people with the story. nan's last blog post..CARNIVAL for the un-initiated

I’m sorry if I didn’t answer some of these comments. If I’m in email when they come in, I often answer that way. Sometimes, I’m working on something that I can’t tear away from, because my train of thought? It will pull out of the station without me.
Kailani You might notice that there are no photos of the kitchen, which I actually use a lot. Plus, the dining room/office and the living room are the mansion-y rooms. the rest are kind of ordinary.
Eddie: Knudsey warned me of maligning tossers coming to my blog hehe.
Knudsey: I love where you said God reads your blog and loves it. I’m sure she does.
Jeremy: I saw your entry, and feel free to write twenny for twenty any time you want to mess with people and make them think you are talking with a Nova Scotia accent.
I’m glad you folks like the place. I do too. Especially since there are no crackheads nearby. That’s a lovely bonus.
