Grace In Small Things is the brainchild of the awesome Schmutzie, who devised it as a way to battle embitterment, and immediately shared it with the internet. Thank you, Schmutzie!

• Finding a previously stashed nutty chocolate bar by accident *burp*
• Fitting into older clothes that I thought were too small.
• Pain management via physiotherapy. Yay!
• Not smacking my blog in the piehole as it whines for an update
• Realizing that at the rate I am doing GIST, it will take me years to finish 365 of them. Blog fodder for the truly desperate!

• coffee.
• blooming plants.
• good company
• good friends
• the ease of using my netbook

I have more things to be grateful for this week. You might say things are looking up, but Selda, my non-sadistical physiotherapist told me that looking up was not helpful for my neck.

So to proceed with all the gratitudinosity:

• The physio exercises are improving my pain management and my range of motion. Wine is strictly recreational now.
• Warrior Woman is back! She’s sick, but I hope to see her soon.
• I’m back on track financially, and my level of pain allows me to work more hours. Yay!
• Ass Burger Boy got me a geranium for my birthday (early). It was exactly what I wanted.
• A possible solution for my blog blahs.

I know I’m way slow on these Grace in Small Things posts. I’ve been an absent blogger. Don’t judge. You, too, may have long, extended brain farts, and agonies over what to reveal so as not to get other family members in trouble.

I do have some lovely things to be grateful for, however:

• The place will be filled with the scent of lilacs today, as they are ready for cutting.
• I got to see my Grammie while I was away. I love my Grammie.
• She knew who I was.
• Warrior Woman will be home soon. I miss her.
• Flowers in the garden are blooming, including a columbine, which didn’t make the effort last year.
