The ever curious, yet mildly insulting, Old Knudsen, asks:

Dear witchypoo

I know you’re probably too busy with yer money making schemes and sex scandals etc but if you ever have a mind to could you give yer theories or second hand knowledge on what Heaven and Hell are as i don’t know of anyone who has come back from those places. is it in our heads and what we make it? or just the big cosmic soup that everyone returns to?

Can we trap ourselves in a hell of our own making when we die?

Well you did ask if anyone had any questions.

Yers curiously OK

I can only reply with the theories that have percolated inside my own tiny little brain, because I don’t know of anyone who has come back from these places either.

Having said that, I have communicated with some people who have passed on, croaked, kicked the bucket, bought the farm, or taken the long dirt nap.

Their personalities seemed pretty well intact. If they were sweet and cheery while they had a body, so they were when I connected with them. If they were hateful and miserable, that is the energy I got from them.

I’m thinking that we do indeed, create our own heaven or hell on earth, shaped largely by our attitudes, thoughts and beliefs. And although the body wears out as a vehicle, the energy construct of mind, soul and emotions are intact.

If you believe that St. Peter will meet you at the pearly gates, you may very well have that experience.

A word on religion here. I believe that accepting God in our heart is a transformative process, creating love and charity toward our fellow earth dwellers. Love is like that. God is love. It is in no way an exclusionary event, which allows the so-called “saved” to look down their noses at others. I do believe that there will be a lot of lip-service Christians who are going to be mighty surprised when they die, but they will most likely be hanging with their lip-service homies.

Does it really make sense to anybody that the Dalai Lama, a most loving and compassionate man, whose light shines so brightly, will be doomed to eternal damnation? It sure doesn’t to me. I think after his body wears out, he will still be inspiring and spreading love and compassion.

And to me? That is my idea of heaven. Love.

And? What’s this about sex scandals?

Love, witchypoo.

God even said in the Bible that we would be surprised to see who is in Heaven. Jesus likely would not hang out with most North American church folk. He didn’t hang out with the church folk back in Bible times either ;)

God has also said that He does not want anyone to perish. Does that mean that maybe you get a final chance upon death to choose to be with your Maker?

I sure hope so :)

That God did a lot of talking back in the day, I guess those with their hand up his arse have long since died as he says nothing now……. what do you mean ‘mildly’ insulting? you love it.
I would hate to see the deluded lip service Christians get their heavenly choir because the denial they live in is so great.
I suppose religion is created by man so you can’t go on the Bible stories as they come from earlier times and religions and what god said all that stuff? It all boils doon to my favourite saying, “Follow yer heart and not yer ego.”

I believe I told you my theory about how we have different personalities in our soul from our various lives that go to shape our current personality, that leads me to believe that though we can meet others on the other side the only everlasting peace we find is the peace we allow ourselves to have as we go round and round .

I like things that make me think.

Old Knudsen makes me dizzy with his round and round talk. LOL. I have to give him credit for asking a good question though – I wondered what your thoughts were on those subjects myself. Great post!

I know one person who has been to the other side and come back. She said it was beautiful, she didn’t want to come back. They made her return.

I have only gotten as far as the light. I wasn’t allowed to go through. But let me say that if the feelings I got from that light is any indication of what is to come, then Heaven is the place we all want to go to.
When death is near, fear not, you will want to go.

Doesn’t matter if you believe in Heaven or not, it’s still there.

And hell? Haven’t been there in awhile.

I have reasoned that if Licifer cant take any form then hell can be anywhere.

I read a book once, can’t remember what it was called….anyway the guy that wrote it had communicated with his daughter from the ‘other side’ and he said she reckons we all go to heaven, just to a different ‘plane’ or level if you like while you work through your stuff, some have more than others to work out! This guy was a non believer in ‘this type of thing’….he’s changed his mind since losing his daughter

I like the book Journey of Souls. The author hypnotized a bunch of people and got them to talk about life between lives. Turns out we are all different rainbow colors inside, and we change colors depending on how we vibrate (our energy). Everyone is in some sort of school, or pod, with a Guide (Teacher), and they choose different scenarios to work on by coming to Earth in a physical body.

It was like a big theater group in the sky.

And the really bad ones didn’t go to hell but they somehow had their energy reconditioned if they did something really bad. In the end, everyone reaches the Light and new beings are spewed out to start it all over again.
